“To know God and make him known”

Christian Community Centre is about building “The Kings House”, an atmosphere/environment that reflects God – who He is and a place where people can grow and thrive in their relationship with God.

What sort of atmosphere/environment is the ‘Kings House’?

1.     House of Heart – a place to belong. Loving relationships are built with acceptance and connection. Why? God’s priority is adopting people into his family. It’s all about God and People, People and God.

2.     House of Hope - a place to believe. In God, in each other, in the cause. Why? Without faith it is impossible to please Him. He is trustworthy. The people around you are His plan.

3.     House of Health – A place to behave. Where our belief and action are united. Why? Bringing pleasure to God is our Goal. When we function right it brings the right results – freedom and fruitfulness.

4.     House of Help - a place of opportunity. Not to steal, not to hoard, but to give. What’s mine is yours and I’m giving it. Create margin to help others 

5.     House of Heroes – a place of victory. Everybody is called to be a hero. Be strong on the inside and take hold of opportunities despite obstacles. To release the God dream/potential in you all.

6.     House of Happiness – a place of celebration. Shouting God’s fame throughout the world.

The strategy for achieving the vision is for us to: line our behaviour up with our beliefs.

The outworking of the strategy is for us to: live a purpose driven life, value based life.

• Value is God First- loving God , and bringing pleasure to Him = Worship

• Value is People Matter (relationship) – Being connected in God’s family = Fellowship

• Value is Obedience above Convenience – Growing up on the inside to be like Jesus. Bring personal behaviour inline with belief = Discipleship

• Value is How can I help (count me in) – using our unique makeup to serve God’s family = Ministry

• Value is eternal Perspective – making God known to people outside God’s family = Mission
